Interactive Physics on Your Desktop With Phun
Phun is a very addictive 2-D physics application for your desktop created by Emil Ernerfeldt a Computer Science graduate student in Sweden. The program comes with twelve preloaded scenes that you can use to become familiar with some of the program’s capabilities (try putting small circles inside the water in the Fountain Scene). You can create squares, circles, lines, chains and hinges. There are options for setting the gravity, density, “bounciness” and color of each object.
There is a tutorial to help you get started before you start creating your own scenes and a forum for exchanging ideas.
Phun is available as a free download for non-commercial use.
